Results
As related to the overall objective, the results of the CESPeT project consist of:
- the access of 1300 pupils with SEN, from the NE, Central, NW and SE regions of Romania, to formal, non-formal and informal educational programs in order to prevent school dropout situations and to achieve school reintegration;
- the diversification of educational strategies designed for students with special educational needs and for the categories of people interacting with them;
- the involvement of 400 persons (teachers, parents) in training courses in the field of special education, in order to facilitate their interaction with persons with SEN;
- the establishment of the Center for Training and Research in the field of Special Education and of its regional laboratories;
- the development of a school - family - community partnership which should contribute to the elimination of the risk of school dropout registered among students with SEN;
- raising public awareness on the possibilities to integrate people with SEN;
- the improvement of the legislative framework in force regarding persons with SEN, by means of the proposal amending the Law no. 448/2006.
The CESPeT project aims to achieve the following results:
- one Center for Training and Research in the field of Special Education (CTRSE), with one central and 6 regional laboratories;
- 4 studies regarding the identification of the integration needs and possibilities of pupils with SEN;
- 4 intervention/prevention strategies targeting school dropout among students with SEN;
- 10 innovative tools to reduce school dropout among students with SEN;
- 20 teaching materials to stimulate interest in learning;
- one comparative (Romania - Denmark) study;
- 8 examples of good practices identified in Romania;
- 9 transnational good practices exchanges (Romania - EU, EU - Romania)
- 105 school - family - community partnerships;
- 1 database comprising resources, information, accessibilities for the direct and indirect beneficiaries of the project;
- 1 virtual network;
- 3 long-term 25 credit-training programs developed and accredited by the National Centre of Pre-university Teaching Staff Training - NCPTST;
- 50 teachers, psychologists, educational psychologists, speech therapists, physiotherapists trained in order to acquire the strategy of "second chance" learning activities/actions;
- 50 teachers/other professionals trained to use ICT in actions of preventing and reducing school dropout;
- 50 teachers /other professionals trained in order to enhance their work motivation and to manage professional stress;
- 50 teachers/other professionals participating to the transnational training workshops;
- 1000 parents/guardians provided with counselling in order to increase their self-esteem;
- 200 parents/guardians certified by the National Council of Adult Training -NCAT;
- 900 beneficiaries of reintegration activities;
- 1300 pupils with SEN provided with counselling in order to increase their self-esteem;
- 900 scholarships granted to students with SEN at risk of dropout;
- one best practices guide developed for the professionals working with persons with SEN;
- one proposal amending the Law no. 448/2006.
